Virtualisation technology, which offers businesses the ability to pool their hardware resources, is playing a major role in making IT more flexible and cost-effective.

With virtualisation software, many users can reduce their hardware assets, or use them more efficiently, by running multiple "virtual machines" side by side on the same hardware, emulating different components of their IT systems.

With Microsoft's entrance into the market, virtualisation has now become a viable option for small and medium-sized companies too.

Join virtualisation experts from Microsoft and Technology Management this April to learn about virtualisation and, specifically, Microsoft's virtualisation solution – Hyper-V - that comes free with Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

During the morning event you'll discover:

  • What virtualisation is
  • Why businesses are demanding virtualisation technology
  • The types of virtualisation available
  • Free downloadable tools to help you decide if virtualisation is right for your company
  • A product demonstration of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V
  • Licensing options
