The Wave 1 Release is officially here!

A new Tecman Talks Dynamics podcast is now live, and it's an exciting one… the official Wave 1 Release for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The roadmap announced back in February this year gave a preview of what was to come, but those developments have been fleshed out and are now available to take advantage of.

So, what are they?

James and Liam, two Tecman Directors, discuss the subtle – but powerful – changes that have been introduced to give customers more control of their business solution on a SaaS platform to work better in a modern-day environment.

From additional data allowances that make it way more cost-effective for larger companies with lots of data, to significant performance improvements it's all covered in this short 30-minute Tecman Talks Dynamics podcast.

Plus, you can now control exactly which day and time the cumulative updates happen (rather than just a 3-hour time frame, you now have a 3-week time frame), so you're avoiding any potential disturbances and tailoring it to suit you better.

And if you're a customer with operations in Asia, South America, or Africa, there’s greater geographical coverage to enable access to the SaaS platform, in more local languages.

There is a long list of small functional changes that are now – or will soon be – available in the Wave 1 Release across customer relationship management, manufacturing, jobs and service management.

Dynamics 365 Business Central on SaaS is fast becoming the de-facto deployment model so if you’re not already running your implementation that way, or don’t have a plan to move there sometime soon, now is the time to have that discussion with us. Just make contact with your Account Manager.
