Enhance your Jet Reporting skills to take advantage of advanced report designing features.
Using your existing Jet skills, this course will help you to understand some of the more complex report design techniques that will enable you to maximise the power of Jet Reports.
During the Using Jet Reports for Microsoft Dynamics NAV - Advanced course, we’ll cover:
- How to allow users to store data in the report that will be retained when the report is refreshed to help you prevent data loss
- Linking multiple tables and filtering the results of a table based on filters applied to a related table to make filtering a lot easier for you
- How to validate the user choices in a Report Option so that you can ensure data integrity
- How to use Excel Slicers as a filter in a report
- How to use the Jet Report scheduler to create a task to run a ‘batch’ report to eliminate multiple reports
The hands-on nature of the course and its use of a demonstration database means that you can focus on the skills involved and end up well equipped to go and start using these features in your own system.
The level of the course is advanced. The prerequisites are that you have completed or have the skills covered in our introduction course ‘Using Jet Professional- for Microsoft Dynamics NAV’.
