Join Our Team

Now in its 8th year of operation, we are recruiting for Dynamics Support Consultants, Dynamics Implementation Consultants, Dynamics Developers, Project Managers and Account Managers to support our customers using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing & Customer Service (aka Dynamics CRM) and the Microsoft Power Platform.

We’re looking for people with relevant business experience or a degree, ideally in Business Management or Information Technology.

You might be working in finance, manufacturing or distribution and have some experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM or the Power Platform as an end user and want to develop further. Or you could be working in a related IT sector and want to get into the world of Microsoft Dynamics. Alternatively, you’ve got a relevant degree and few years business experience under your belt.

But whatever applicable experience and/or qualifications you bring, with the right attitude and focus you’ll find our Academy Programme is the perfect stepping stone to a career with Tecman.

The Academy Scheme

Whatever the role you might be interested in, everyone starts off with the same industry and product training. Initially classroom training in the first months of employment, which also includes assignments to enhance your soft skills, there’s also access to Microsoft self-study learning material and on the job experience. Each candidate will be expected to pass the relevant Microsoft certifications. The initial training is an intensive 12 weeks and then you’ll be moving into role with the support of an experienced mentor.

Not sure which role might suit you best, no worries. There’s more info below on the roles – plus the real-life experiences of our previous Academy recruits – to help you make a more informed choice. But ultimately it's about seeing where your passions and skills take you – we want you to find the role that suits you, and the business, best. Not everyone finally ends up in the role that they initially anticipated.

Dynamics Support Consultant

If you enjoy problem solving and helping customers, then working in our ever expanding Support Team might be the role for you. From answering and logging calls, to working to reproduce issues and determine cause and then communicating plans for resolution internally and back to the customer, our support consultants are at the heart of everything we do at Tecman.  It’s a role where working closely with colleagues is essential to ensure the right product experts are involved in solving the relevant customer issues.

Dynamics Implementation Consultants

Our Implementation Consultants need to be able to get to grips with how our customers operate and be able to understand both their challenges and business objectives. And then use that business understanding to roll-out how Dynamics 365 can help.

You’ll run customer workshops to understand how each area of the business functions and wants to improve. You’ll document those requirements and identify where Dynamics 365 needs to be customised to fit unique business needs. You’ll be involved in migrating the data over from their existing systems as well as solution testing and end user training to ultimately support a seamless and successful “Go Live” to Dynamics 365.

Dynamics Developers

Our Dynamics Developers are expected to develop design, configuration and coding skills in one or more Microsoft technology stacks and to deliver consistent quality software of the highest usability. The new code/product development could include new functional, integration and/or reporting requirements.

Whilst this is a more technical role, it’s also one where you should also enjoy deciphering the business requirement and working as part of a team to meet the required customer timescales.

Project Managers

If controlling the resources, budgets and risks of projects worth up to £500,000 sounds like it would be right up your street, then the role of Project Manager could be the one for you.

Responsible for the delivery of customer projects to ensure they are completed on time and to budget, you’ll need to able create & maintain project plans, schedule resources based on skills sets and project dependencies and ensure adherence to project processes. You’ll also need to be a great communicator – with both your colleagues and your customers – and have a knack for resolving conflicts and issues.

Account Managers

Our Account Managers are responsible for the relationship between Tecman and our customers – handling everything from contracts, product licencing, communicating quotes and billing and ensuring everyone has clear expectations of what we can deliver and when.

It’s all about building long term relationships with the key people at each customer to ensure everyone is kept up-to-date and getting to know the customer’s business so opportunities for improvements and contract expansions can be identified.
