Data Check is a fabulous, new (ish!) feature in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that you either might have missed or, even if you are using it, not all your colleagues will be. 

If you’ve had issues with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users accidentally overtyping the No. and Name fields within the master data records, such as Vendor, Item, Customer and G/L Account Cards, the Lock Editing function (accessed through Profile customisation) can really help reduce this risk. 

A common request that has cropped up over the years is to have the ability to easily search across all documents and entries in the system. Often, the documents you’d like to find are buried away within menus and it can be difficult to get a full view of the information you require.
