What is Microsoft Power BI?

You may have seen Microsoft Power BI within your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV solution... Maybe you have heard or read about it on various electronic media and are wondering, what can it do for me and my business?
Whilst there is some excellent out-of-the-box reporting included within Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI is a reporting tool used to import, manipulate and create interactive, visually appealing representations of data. You can use these reports to highlight key information areas and share them across your business. Power BI is ever-evolving every month due to a large online community following who make suggestions for improvements and interact with each other via blogs and forums found here https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog.
Power BI gives you the ability to create reports as well as dashboards. Reports show in-depth and interactive detailed analysis and insights and dashboards provide a top-level view of various BI reports amalgamated into one view.

It also doesn’t stop there… Power BI reports can be viewed and interacted with from anywhere in the world – including tablet and mobile, via the Power BI app, available on all iOS and Android devices.
