The kids are back to school, the nights are getting longer, and your summer holiday is just a distant memory. That can only mean one thing: the latest and greatest features of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM are dropping this October!

Jason, Ellie, Jon and Zak discussed in Tecman Talks Dynamics podcast the new features and functions that will make a real difference to users:

The Copilot grid search feature is a game-changer. Imagine using natural language to search tables and visualise data. It's like having a super-smart assistant that gets better the more you use it. And speaking of Copilot, it's making waves in Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Service by turning user queries into actionable insights.

Next, it’s updates for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys. Power Pages portals for events are now generally available, and Teams town halls can host up to 10,000 participants for those larger events. Plus, payment integration for events is here, complete with discount codes and other nifty features.

On the Dynamics 365 Customer Service front, the integration between cases and knowledge management is getting a boost. Say goodbye to Smart Assist and hello to Copilot! Now, knowledge articles can be automatically created from resolved cases, and you can even generate articles from historical data.

For Dynamics 365 Sales, the hierarchy control is back, and there's a new sales qualification agent to help you qualify or disqualify leads based on set criteria.

For those using Dynamics 365 Field Service, the integration of field service bookings with Outlook and Teams is a big win. Engineers can now access works order information directly from these platforms. Plus, there are enhancements to the scheduling board and mobile app.

Last but not least, the Power Platform is introducing generative pages, allowing for more flexible and customisable interfaces within Dynamics 365 CRM. And there's a new feature in Power Apps that lets users toggle offline sync to work only with Wi-Fi rather than mobile data.
