Supporting Irish food & drink manufacturers and distributors

Supporting Irish food & drink manufacturers and distributors – Tecman joins Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association

Reading time: 2 - 4 minutes

We’re excited to announce that Tecman is now an official member of the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association (NIFDA).

Following recent growth of our Irish team, joining NIFDA – a leading voice in Northern Ireland’s food and drink sector – further strengthens our commitment to the region’s food and beverage manufacturers and distributors.

This strategic move is all part of our wider mission to make sure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central helps our Irish customers overcome some of their most costly, common and time-consuming challenges.

So, what does Tecman’s NIFDA membership really mean for you? Let’s take a look...

A partner that understands the pressures you face

Joining NIFDA gives us a seat at the table in conversations that are shaping the future of food and drink manufacturing and distribution. We’ll be immersed in the sector’s pressures, challenges, priorities and ambitions – and we’ll use this valuable insight to make Tecman’s solutions even more practical, impactful and relevant to the industry as it is today.

First-hand conversations and collaboration

We’ll be joining exclusive industry events to connect with you directly and find out first-hand what it’s like to be a modern-day food and drink manufacturer or distributor in Northern Ireland. Staying close to the latest developments, from supply chain disruption to regulatory change. By listening to the challenges being discussed and understanding the pressures first-hand, we’re able to take that insight and feed it straight into our customer conversations and solution design. It’s how we make sure our advice, support and technology stays relevant and genuinely helpful.

We were honoured to join the NIFDA Annual Dinner last month, with excellent talks from NIFDA Chair, Ursula Lavery MBE, and this year’s keynote speaker - Stuart Machin, Marks and Spencer’s CEO. We’re already feeding the insight we gained back into our customer conversations and solution design.

A helping hand to grow your business

NIFDA and Tecman are united by a shared goal: to help your business grow. As part of this network, we’re regularly exposed to new ideas, partnerships and ways of working, and we’ll always take our learnings and pass them along to you. Whether it’s smarter ways to manage stock, streamline operations or improve customer service, we’re here to help you grow with confidence.

Support with sustainability and innovation

It’s clear that innovation in the sustainability space is accelerating at a rate of knots. Being an active member of NIFDA is helping Tecman stay up to date with sustainability developments and compliance regulations and is committed to helping you keep pace, too. From sup porting greener operations to ensuring your software assists you in meeting the latest regulations, we’re exploring how our technology can support your sustainability goals.
This October, we attended the official launch of TRACE PEACEPLUS, a cross-border initiative focused on strengthening the Products of Animal Origin (POAO) supply chain across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The event spotlighted key themes around technology, resilience and transformation in food and drink, and expert panels and hands-on sessions gave us fresh ideas and deeper insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the food industry on the island of Ireland.

The bottom line? It’s all about you

Joining NIFDA isn’t just a badge for Tecman – it’s a commitment to our customers. It gives us deeper insight, stronger connections and better tools to support your business. Whether you’re navigating change, chasing growth or driving innovation, we’re here to help.
