You might think that Academy Programmes are only worth joining if they are at large, well-known corporations with thousands of employees.

Here at Tecman, we’re really proud of our Academy Programme. It has nurtured incredible people to become brilliant team members in their roles. Now in its ninth year, the Academy has produced 30% of our current team from a variety of both technical and non-technical backgrounds, so its track record speaks for itself! 

What does the Tecman Academy Programme entail?

Our team are committed to being hands-on with our Academy intake, supporting you at every stage of the process. When you first join, you’ll be taken through our 13-week training programme (all while earning a full salary) to help you get to grips with Tecman, our customers, and the software we sell. You’ll have time to get familiar with what we do and be ready to take on your new role. You’ll be supported by the team here at Tecman to find a role that will suit you, during your 13-week training we’ll get to know you personally and see where your strengths are best suited.  

When you do venture into your new role, you won’t just be abandoned and expected to get on with it, we invest the time necessary to help you settle and thrive! You’ll be working alongside a mentor, getting on the job training to continuously support your development.

Our Academy Programme comprises of two distinct pathways. If business is your passion, our Dynamics Business Analyst platform is a great option for you. This pathway will see you become an expert in understanding individual business process to recognise how Microsoft Dynamics 365 can help customers achieve their business objectives. You can move into several areas such as consultancy, project implementation and Dynamics support. 

However, if a more technical role floats your boat, our Dynamics/Power Platform Developer pathway might be perfect for you. This route will see you become an expert in the designing, configuring and coding of one or more Microsoft technology stacks, bringing software of the highest useability to customers.  

Whichever route you choose, we’ll equip you with state-of-the-art equipment for use both in the office and at home (for hybrid working once you’ve completed your training), so you’ll always have the best tools for the job.

When you’re working in the office, you’ll have a choice of desk options from sit down to walking to cycling meaning you can get that workout in whilst you work! To keep you fuelled throughout the day you’ll also have unlimited use of our state-of-the-art coffee machine, tea selection, hot chocolate and fizzy drinks/juice fridge, keeping you hydrated. We also have fresh fruit in the office every day to help you get your five a day!
