Scribe Adapters

Scribe Adapters are components that enable the Scribe engine to communicate natively with specific business applications like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics as well as standard technologies like Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and Web Services.

Connectivity Adapters are designed to provide a wide variety of integration options to support connectivity to the varied applications and data stores within each company's computing environment.

Direct communication with database tables, views, and stored procedures through ODBC 3.0 or higher and natively to SQL Server. Scribe leverages all of the filtering and querying capability of these databases when employing this approach. The exchange of flat files or XML documents via a directory or FTP/HTTP location. The asynchronous exchange of XML messages via an industry standard message queue, email, or integration broker.

Scribe Templates

Represent complete or partial data integration or migration processes that have been developed using Scribe Insight technology. Scribe provides a number of these Templates to customers and partners as free downloads from the Scribe Web Community to support the successful deployment of the Scribe platform.

Scribe provides its templates for use as a starting point for developing your integration or migration. Before beginning to use any of Scribe’s templates, please be aware that Scribe’s templates are developed using the sample databases and application configurations provided with the targeted applications.
